Sho Stopper's book is now closed. Thank you for ALL the interest.
He is Hawk Ridge's pride and joy when it comes to our Quarter Horse breeding program... He is undoubtedly our best QH stallion, and beloved of all on the grounds...
For a limited time Sho Stopper is being offered for public stud to a few select mares. 1992 Bay American Quarter Horse Stallion - 16h Stop Doc x See These Heels (by See This Bid) Semi-Retired from Reining / Western Pleasure / Trail / RopingSho Stopper is able to sire working western foals to compete in Reining & Roping OR foals which may compete in Western Pleasure & Trail & Horsemanshipcurrent ASQHR title: Grand Champion current ASWCHA title: Champion Lifetime Earnings: $1.2 MILLION + He has over 60 class/show titles, countless top tens & ribbons BREEDING CONDITIONS:Hawk Ridge requires a permanent URL within 2 weeks of breeding Hawk Ridge reserves first refusal/buy-backs Foal's name MUST contain "Sho" or "Stop" in some form No barn initials/abbreviations on the foal's name (BUT if this is a HUGE problem, I have one suggestion, please PM for details) Foal must age at least once per year, speed-aging is fine Quarter Horse, Appaloosa, Paint, Arabian, Thoroughbred mares ONLY To apply for a breeding to Sho Stopper, please post with the following information below:

Your barn URL: sim.whitedragonweb.com Mare's Name: A Shoshone Remedy or Lucky Doc Mare's URL: A Shoshone Remedy: sim.whitedragonweb.com/view.php?id=82 Lucky Doc: sim.whitedragonweb.com/view.php?id=84 You read the conditions, and agree? Yes & Yes Anything else you'd like me to know? No, but I will be taking your suggestion Plans for the foal: Foal will be shown in the RCHA & RHA in primarily Reining events. I would like the foal to be between 1997 - 2000, so an older foal if possible?
I'm leaning more towards A Shoshone Remedy than Lucky Doc. I like her more as a Reining broodmare I think The colours for the cross would be Bay or Sorrel, solid or Tobiano. The dam passes on the Agouti gene regardless, so the foal will be guarenteed to carry one copy.
Breeding to Lucky Doc would result in a Bay or Black foal - Lucky Doc will always pass on the black form of the extension gene so there is no chance of a sorrel. Again, either solid or Tobiano.
^ I included these because I know you've asked before, so if you're wondering I decided to post now Possible names would include either 'double' or 'six' as your suggestion, but not D6 or 66 (the traditional suffixes for Double 6 Ranch starting in '11). I actually like the name Six O Sho, if you approve all this

Shelly I ADORE the name "Six O Sho"... and "Six O Stop" would be really cute too, now that I think about it, as another suggestion. Either mare is fine by me, or both. Your foal(s) will be the very first Paint to exist with Sho Stopper bloodlines. Would you (or other people) prefer a LINK for my breeding conditions? I think it might be preferred by alot of people, rather than listing specifics on the page. Hmm.. I think I will do a link so people have that option. Anyways, looking forward to seeing your foal(s)!

Okay, now that you tempted me, I'd like you to see these foal stats before I create pages:
Sho Stopper x A Shoshone Remedy "Six O Sho" 1998 - 2000 (preferred) Sorrel Tobiano Stallion Reining trained
Sho Stopper x Lucky Doc "Lucky 6 (or Six?) Stop" -- If you prefer the word six to the number 6 let me know Either way I'm fine 2000 - 2003 Bay Tobiano Mare Reining trained
Do these work for you? If so I can provide you pages either late tomorrow or Saturday.

Your barn URL: celticlover.fyrefly.org/all-sim/hpstock/Mare's Name: HPS Miss Peppy Mare's URL: celticlover.fyrefly.org/all-sim/hpstock/peppy.htmlYou read the conditions, and agree? Yes. Anything else you'd like me to know? No. Plans for the foal: I plan on showing the foal/horse here on SAI in the RCHA, and maybe the ASSHA. Also will show it on WWS in the ASQHR and ASWCHA. Discipline would be reining. I'd like the foal to be a 1999 stallion, and name it 'Peppy, Stop!' or 'For Sho Peppy'. I know, sucky names but I suck at them so >< yeah lol. If you have other suggestions, let me know

Your barn URL: freespiritqhestate.webs.com and www.paintedcolour.webs.comMare's Name: Sheer Deelite or Good And Gone Mare's URL: Sheer Deelite: paintedcolour.webs.com/SheerDeelite.html or Good And Gone: www.paintedcolour.webs.com/GoodAndGone.htmlYou read the conditions, and agree? Yes and Yes Anything else you'd like me to know? Both mares are western pleasure and trail trained, but I am leaning more towards Sheer Deelite for the mare to use. Plans for the foal: (where do you show your horses, what is your aging system, etc.) The foal would be competing in ASSHA, PHA and the ASQHR or ASPR in western pleasure and trail. I age once a year and retire when they are 10 - 15 or when they have a title or a couple of titles in the associations. The only names i could come up with are Good Stoppin, Sho Sweet, Major Stopper, Sho Stop N' Fun and Sho Deeliteful

Lin - Your Sho Stopper X HPS Miss Peppy colt sounds awesome, and for name suggestions I have: Miss Pep Stop (more of a filly name) Peppy Miss Stopper (more of a filly name) Little Miss Sho (more of a filly name) Miss Fo Sho (more of a filly name) Miss F'Sho (more of a filly name) Peppy F'Sho Peppy Fo Sho Pep Stopper Mister Stopper Mister Sho Mister Peppy Sho ... and for the record, I really like For Sho Peppy You could also do it like this: F'Sho Peppy oh man would i have loved to get a baby from him.. too bad about not allowing suffixes. let me know if you ever change your mind. Pia - I have been allowing a mention of the barn's NAME in the foal's name, rather than prefix/suffix. For example, a player with a barn name of Farthingway Estate could potentially breed a foal called "Stop That Far" or "Sho Fathingway" or whatever. This is my compromise, because alot of people love barn initials and have them in breeding contracts and I absolutely hate initials on my foals. Let me know if that might work for you? Elsha - I love the names Good Stoppin, Sho Sweet, and Major Stopper. Those rock. Your mare pages won't load for me though? I'm sure they are great mares. I always love your horses.

nah it wouldnt the reason i use my suffix is because when people see it they know who bred the foal and what quality standards where set when the foal was bred (as most people know me), and that the foal is under my contract (if sold). and all my foals from back in late 06 i belive have that suffix. so i would never give that up. i also like the realism of it, as a studs owner would never have any say in a foals name in rl. the foal is bred by the mare owner, not the studs. but hey, its up to you. he's a nice boy, but i would never give up the one thing that links the baby to me as its a breeder. edit: and "falkferd" in the name would be a huuuge no-no for me it wouldnt match anything in the way i name my foals. hehe.

Gotcha Pia, I totaly understand where you are coming from. I feel like, this is a sim game and even though I try to keep as much realism as possible when I play, I also put alot of effort into my horses, studs & broods both, so I need to feel like my studs are getting recognition too, through their awesome foals in the show ring. IRL, people don't "reclaim" horses, LOL ... so sometimes we bend the sim world to fit our needs & wants, and I like that. Heheh.
