I've created a group title for my farms.
Wilcox Inc.
Our stables are Fallen Knight Stables, Bit of Dirt Racehorses, and Summerfeld Sporthorses.
Fallen Knight Stables houses our snaffle bit and pleasure stock. We currently have paints and quarter horses and want to keep it that way (though we're planning on finding a few more mares).
Bit of Dirt Racehorses is our racing domain. We have Thoroughbreds and Stock racehorses, ranging from Appaloosas to Quarter Horses. We might even introduce some chasers and harness racers. We're not 100% sure yet though.
Summerfeld Sporthorses is home to our sporthorse stock. We plan on raising Arabian Sporthorses. Right now we have a terrific German Warmblood stallion named Turbo Jet. He is a sabino palomino stallion competing in 2nd level dressage. We also have a show mare, Gemmed Crown, competing in dressage. And we have a broodmare we show a tad and plan on using for breeding in the near future.
White Lie Dealer is also part of Wilcox Inc.
Aging & Retirement Changes to WI
After realizing one year to one year is too long, I have asked around and found a new aging and retirement system.
My horses will now begin to age after every twenty shows. I will age them when I count up to twenty shows and find that "season" over for them.
Horses will start to retire at age fifteen, no later than twenty. They'll be retired completly by age twenty. We do not plan on showing them in halter once retired.
However, our youngstock (under 3) will start their showing careers off in halter. Once past age 3, I will retire them from halter showing and move them onto their training.
Im also working on writing a contract for WI in general.
