Mileage/Point Standings are calculated based on the following.
x Mileage totals are taken from each race. Horses get credit only for races that they complete. (ex. Bob competes in a 50 mile race, Bob receives 50 miles in his mileage totals).
x Point standings are figured up using the following standards.
These Mileage/Point Standings will be used for special awards at the end of the year. Mileage/Point Standings will be reset at the beginning of every year.
Horses will also receive the following for Mileage Awards.
x Horses competing in Limited Distance Rides [rides 25 - 35 miles in distance] will receive a mileage award at every 300 miles completed.
x Horses competing in 50+ mile rides will receive a mileage award at every 1000 miles completed.

- Horses completing a race will receive .5 a point for placing.
- Horses completing a race will also receive .5 a point for each mile of the race.
- ex. Bob competed in a 50 mile ride and he came in 1st place. Bob received .5 points for his 1st place finish. Bob will also receive 25 points for the 50 mile ride. Bob's overall point total is 25.5 points.
These Mileage/Point Standings will be used for special awards at the end of the year. Mileage/Point Standings will be reset at the beginning of every year.
