2001 Chestnut Russian Arabian Stallion; Standing 15.2 Hands
Sired by Bon Chance, Out of Teirraca (Paladin)
Hunter Pleasure and Mounted Native Costume
Benedict DA is a star. He is one of the most charming stallions you will ever meet and quite easily a personal favorite. Benedict DA has been with us since he was a weanling and was bred by JoAnna of Delarose Arabians which closed its doors in 2002. He is an exquisite mover and this aides him quite well in the performance sector as a Hunter Pleasure mount. He has a large, dark eye set in a finely molded and clean head, of which flows nicely into his long, curved neck. He is equipped with a strong shoulder and highset tail on a well balanced body with long straight legs. Its conformation like this that has allowed him to get so far in the halter ring. With numerous international championships under his belt, and that of his foals, it is plain to see why we have chosen Benedict DA as one of our main herdsires.
SAI 2010 Overall Arabian Honorable Mention Horse of the Year
