Cross Entering:
A Guide to Saddle Seat Entering (Taken from the ASSA): •Classic Pleasure: Classic Pleasure Driving, Country Combination •Country English Pleasure: Country English Pleasure Driving, •Country Combination •English Pleasure: English Pleasure Driving, Informal Combination •Show Pleasure: Show Pleasure Driving, Informal Combination •Park: Park harness OR Fine harness, Formal Combination
• Plantation Pleasure may cross into Country Pleasure OR English Pleasure. •Classic, Country English & Show Pleasure may cross enter into English Pleasure.
•Hunter Pleasure may not be cross entered with Hunter Under saddle. (This is a more refined class, so think more like Saddle seat than HuS.)
General Rules: •Horses may enter a total of 6 under saddle/in harness classes. •Horses may enter as many halter classes as they are eligible for. •Divisions may NOT be cross entered. Saddle seat horses are not going to have the training and inclination to go from a high stepping, flashy class to hunter under saddle or eventing. •Futurity horses are 3 years old for under saddle classes. Futurity halter classes are for 3 and younger. •Junior horses are 4-6 •Senior horses are 7+ •Copy the previous person's entries and add your's to their's.
