shes gone the day was good. long walks and then to the vet. she went very peacefully, and when she was gone, it was easier to leave. im very happy that i stayed for the last shot even if the vet told me she could have convulsions or start whining. it just felt wrong to let her have her last seconds all alone. and she didnt, she just.,.. stopped. everything about her stopped. and it was so much easier to leave her there when she did, because it didnt feel like she was there anymore. E says shes going to heaven to watch over him. now i cant wait to get her back home so i can bury her in our yard. even my husband, whos never had animals before he met me, broke down completely. there'll never be another one like her.

It's never easy to loose a pet, and it's even more hard to make the decision to let them go. You did the right thing. I had to do the same a few months ago and it's never easy. I still miss my pet. I had him for over 10 years, but it gets easier with time. My heart goes out to you and yours. *hugs*
