yes... after... uhm... 6 years i think? or more? ...of aging by shows, i think i will start aging yearly. with the option to speed up the horses i feel like speeding of course. simply because it's less work for me. im using so much more time when i have to update the lists for every horse. or maybe i'll do them every six months. we'll see when we get to july it's the end of an era.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol...it's much easier to age by years or months than it is to age by shows. Go every 3 or 6 months, don't go to the dark side lmao

yeah, im thinking 6 months now. but when july comes i might change my mind again.
another reason to change my system is that since Emrik was born i havent been able to keep up with the aging anyway.

The dark side has cookies Pia... and hot chocolate... come to the dark side... It has really saved me a TON of trouble... I used to age by shows, then every 6 months, and now yearly.. sooo much easier.

if it has cookies and hot chocolate, i'd better stay away. i've lost 11.4 kilos on a lowcarb diet, and im not about to put it on again! lol.

Okay, well the darkside where I'm at has bacon and beer. Case dismissed. Seriously though, it's so much easier to age by year...mine all turn a year older on January 1st, and on their pages I list their year of birth and not their age. No updating.

Shoot for bacon & beer, I may just switch to the dark side lmao!
I do agree, the yearly aging is so so so much easier to deal with...but Im too impatient to wait a whole year for my kids to age lol

Aging yearly would drive me crazy. I have a few horses who I age like that and I don't mind too much because I have my other horses aging normally for me. My problem with aging yearly is its just too unrealistic for me. I hate having a weanling thats already a champion with like 50 shows I defintaly see the benefit in not having to update pages and shows every few months though lol In the end you gotta do what you gotta do.

LOL that sounds so funny...aging by a year is unrealistic haha. It seems backwards at first, but I do agree with you that a champion with like 50 shows under its belt IS unrealistic as a weanling (or even an adult, for that matter...how many horses do 50 shows in a season?).
I like to stick with just the AHA shows in HF for my Arabians and Half-Arabians. It keeps it simple for me, and they can only gain so many titles in the year, IF they place at all in their class(es). Plus the AHA has rollover entries, LOL...entering once a year is much less time consuming for me.
