Is there a place that does weekly or bi-weekly shows? I feel like I'm not doing anything and I want something more to do. I don't want to create more horses and not be able to show them till next month..
How do people rack up so many show results then? I understand this isn't a fast paced game, but I feel like there should be more to do for me. xD Sorry haha.

SAI and thesimcommunity.com are both about as active as they get, which is great. If you wanted to check out something separate from All-Sim, you can check out Horses Forever (http://www.hf.twolarrysracing.com). We welcome horses in HF showing also in All-Sim, though the points and titles need to be separate from HF points/titles.

We used to run weekly/bi weekly shows, but it began to be way too much for the staff team and I to keep up with. We've all got extremely busy lives and the hassle of running shows and collecting results weekly/bi weekly can be a bit excessive.
You are always more than welcome to host shows within the general area or the associations and run them as often as you'd like
If there is/was a greater interest in bi-monthly (running every two weeks) shows, I may consider switching back to that plan for hosting shows in the associations that I run.

I couldn't possibly handle that many shows. I'm considering cutting back on my showing so I can keep up with collecting and posting results each month. Not to mention I'm offering a lot of horses for sale in December to slim my herds down.
I don't know of anywhere thats currently open that runs that many shows. So sorry I can't help you there. I'd just do what Tessa is suggesting and run some extra association shows.

Ah, okay. Even though I feel super busy, I guess I'm not as busy as you guys are. That's totally fine that there aren't more shows going on, so thanks for answering my.. issue haha. ^^

When I first started out I felt like I had a lot of time on my hands. Entering my horses in all these shows and stuff. Now I have a hard time keeping up. Show results begin to pile up, I've grown my herds a lot since I began and now I have sales to put together and foals to keep track of.

Echo what Heather said (except I cut out having foal crop sales, lol...not enough time! I do plan for only five foals a year for myself, which I release in January so they have all year to show as weanlings). But also, I started playing when I was a Freshman in high school (er, almost...it was the summer going into high school) and now I'm a mom to two kids, a couple jobs, and bills to pay lol. There simply isn't enough time for me to put into HF (and All-Sim) like I used to. But with the awesome new randomizers coupled with everyone copy and pasting the entries, it makes it infinitely easier to run the shows and thus keep things more active for members. Collecting results is fairly easy, it's updating my horse's titles, pages, and points that I fall behind on! You definitely have more to do the more horses you acquire. But that's a sim sickness...we can't stop buying/breeding horses LOL.

we do love them baby horsies <3 and thats the reason why none of us have the time to do anything else. lol. well, we get it done, but, at least for me, it takes me several months to get everyones records updated, ao when im done i already have to start over and thats the reason why i very rarely host shows anymore. i really should put more work into it, as im staff both on TSC and here, but there just isnt any time

I started working on my foal crop/herd reduction back in like July LOL That way I could very slowly work on it over the next several months. Its been so much easier doing it like that. By the time December comes and I'm ready to post it it should be all done.
I'm actually really close to being up to date with all my records now. Once I catch up its usually not too bad keeping up with my records after that.

Wow, that's crazy! Haha Yeah, I'm a senior in high school and I do have a busy schedule, yet I still feel like I have too much free time on here. So I'm sure it'll get more time consuming as time goes on for me. (;

it most definately will. when i got back after 5 years away, i had a TON of horses, showed any possibility i got (and that was back when POSB was around, and christine who ran it did an insane amount of shows), and helped run the AHAC and AHEJC, and i still had a lot of spare time on my hands.
now, im married, i have a full-time+ job, i own a house, i have two dogs and a two year old, and im in and out of doctors offices every week (or so it feels). and i have, without even noticing it, started spending a buttload of time knitting.

Rockin Y hosts shows. I try and run two sets per month but right now I'm working 16 - 30 hours a week and am full time in college, lol. You can find Rockin Y at rockiny.proboards.com

I'll have several horses (many with titles) available come December. Let me help you become more busy
