Hey Ladies,
I've been thinking recently about splitting the ASSHA class list up differently. The classes are so huge that a horse can show all year long and place only a hand full of times and it's also difficult to title with how big the classes are. I was thinking of breaking it up according to breeds (this would also cut down on the amount of improper entries).
I was thinking about having like an AQHA division, an APHA division, an ApHC division, a POA division, a QP division (or just a pony division for the POAs & QPs) and an Other Division (for the Colorado Rangers, Australian Stock Horses, Canadian Cutting Horses, & Mustangs). Appendix Horses would be entered into the division in which their stock horse blood comes from (Appendix Quarter Horse would enter the AQHA division, etc.)
I've also been thinking about adding a performance halter class and allowing the pleasure horses to enter those classes and cutting the regular halter classes down to just halter horses, which is technically the way it should be now that most of the real life associations have come out with a performance halter division. Would anyone be interested in a retired division for just the breeding stallions and broodmares that have retired from under saddle classes?
What does everyone think?

Sounds like a great idea, Tessa. I'd definitely be interested in a retired division for broodmares and stallions that have retired from under saddle. I have a handful of studs and broodies that have now retired from under saddle, but I would love to still show in-hand.
