Hey Ladies!
Im working on putting together a list of acceptable and not acceptable discipline crosses and working on getting a board up to help figure out the best disciplines for your horses breed/bloodline and what disciplines don't go together. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good websites or books that can help me out in this process. Some of the disciplines, Im comfortable with, some Im not so comfortable with. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you! Tessa

That could be a toughy, cause stock horses are accepted into English disciplines, and Friesian's are good in Dressage and SJ. Obviously stock breeds would not work well in anything but carriage. Am I on the right track?

Sort of...it's kind of hard to explain. What the board is going to do is someone will post their horse and I (or one of the staff ladies) will take a look at the bloodlines and breed and research which would be the best disciplines for that horse (if the horse is still a prospect), For example, Bob is a quarter horse by Smart Chic Olena and out of Sheza Sailin Jose. Those bloodlines are best suited for working western events and Bob would excel at reining and/or cutting.
For the cross entering guide, it would like what disciplines can go together and which can't (like English Pleasure & Pleasure Driving are a good combo, but English Pleasure & Hunter Pleasure don't go together).
The breed websites are mostly for reference when I get started on the Breeds Category in the All Sim Library

I just wanted to add that I LOVE that feature It would help those that have no clue about bloodlines etc, such as me

Bloodlines can be a very tricky thing lol. I have the quarter horse ones down and paint and appaloosas are a little easier for me. When Volurin suggested this, I loved the idea and so did the staff ladies. We're excited to get the board up (hopefully it will be up around Monday) and the list up (should follow within the next month or so).

Tessa, you're more than welcome to register and leave your account if you want to check back from time to time, if you need to. I do ask that if you use anything, please just give Chelsea at HF credit for her work.
