Welcome to SAI's Evaluation Area! Please read on to find out more about how to get your horses evaluated.
- Evaluations are for horses only.
- To get your horses evaluated, please create a new message with only one horse per post. Your horses name, breed and gender should be in the message topic (ex. Bob, quarter horse stallion). Your horses page link should be posted within the message body.
- Horses will earn either an A (45 - 50 points), B (40 - 44 points), C (35 - 39 points) or D (0 - 34 points) rating.
- The following criteria are what I will evaluate on.
Conformation 0/10 points
Suitability For Breeding 0/10 points
Show Record 0/10 points
Movements 0/10 points
Suitability To Discipline 0/10 points
Conformation
- Horses will be judged on their conformation according to their breed standards. Pictures should be present on the page for this section to be judged. Horses with no pictures on their pages will receive 0 points for this section.
Suitability For Breeding
- Horses will have their suitability for breeding judged on the foals they have produced. Foals (if they have any) will be judged on their potential to become show horses and breeding horses in the future. If there are no foals, horses will be judged on their overall potential to produce foals in the future.
Show Record
- Show records should be clearly displayed or linked somewhere on the horses page. Horses will have their overall ability to perform in the show ring evaluated.
Movements
- Horses will have their movements evaluated according to breed standards.
Suitability to Disciplines
- Horses will have their suitability to perform trained disciplines evaluated. Bloodlines will be looked at to see if they match up with the horses potential to perform trained disciplines. Show record will also be looked at when determining their score.
