People, I need help about levels to steeplechase. Rules irl. This is what I know about them, but not sure if it's right. Prospect: 2 years old Maiden: never won a race Allowance: won less then one race Ungraded Chase: ? Grade 3-1: The most important or prestigious races. Based on the quality of previous winners and the race's influence on other races or championships. Please, help.

Prospects are for weanlings - yearlings Flat Chases are for 2YOs Maidens are for any horse 3 & older that hasn't won a race
Im not 100% certain on the others, so I won't try to answer those ones

Prospect classes are something that sim created to give their babies a chance to show more. It's not something that is done in real life

I know that thoroughbred are allowed to compete when they are 2 YO and arabian then they are 3 YO. So is it different ages depending on site which horse that can compete in maiden?

It just depends on the breed and when they are allowed to start racing. If a certain breed can start at 2YO, then maiden are for 2 & up that have never won, etc.

No worries. There are no stupid questions The sport of racing is a difficult one to figure out with all the different breeds that they can compete in.

The young horse races, which are modified versions of the big races, are open to three year olds, and don't appear late into the season, like mid to late summer, even early fall. The Thoroughbreds that race over fences start later than those that race on the flat. So, Steeplechase maidens SHOULD be for three year olds and up, although the three year old races aren't all that common. I make it four years when I run Steeplechase races, five year olds to compete in the others.
Arabians do start flat racing at three, with their big races at four. Quarters, Paints, and Appaloosas start at two, to the best of my knowledge, with big races at three and four/over. I don't know about harness racing.

Most steeplechase races in RL are for horses aged 4yo and up, so I would gather a "Prospect" would be a horse that is 2-3yo. Prospect being a SIM creation and all. The levels for Steeplechasing are very similar to those of flat racing, just that they're going over fences as well as racing and most can't race as such until 4yo or later. Hope that helps a little.

Flat chases though could still be considered preperation races for the actual races with the fences, and run 2+ in them?
