It's here! We cover major and not-so-major one day, two day, and three day events, from the local shindigs to the big four star events like Rolex Kentucky and Badminton. On top of having monthly events for all horses, we include Young Event Horse classes at specific events, for horses five years and younger. If having monthly events for all horses and Young Event Horses aren't enough - we've gone another step farther to introduce the Event Horse Evaluation Program. This program, which is to be released in May of 2011, is a program that evaluates any Event horse, regardless of age, breed, or gender, on specific standards that makes an event horse an event horse. Can't wait to see you out competing!

I noticed your evaluations aren't like the ones I typically see so I'm curious as to how you are determining points for the horses. Will you be using a randomizer?

Not exactly a "randomizer" but everything is randomized. I will be coding a special system for the evaluations that, upon running the script, determines a horse's quality and then gives a range of numbers to that quality. So, for example, quality A would be a range from like zero to three, quality B would be a range from like four to six, and so forth. I like this moreso than using like randomizer.org as it gives a more consistent range of numbers instead of scoring 2 and then 10, you know?

Oh okay I see. That would be more efficent I think. I don't know if this would be possible at all but I think it'd be pretty cool if you could take into account the horses sire/dam of atleast sim horses. So for instance if a sim stallion gets an A then his foals would be more likey to get an A. Something like that. I just think it'd be cool to be able to breed for a better score if that makes sense.

That is something to take into consideration... *thinks* It might be possible... It could be possible. I will have to think about that and implementing it into my randomizer. I think I know how to do it too, haha.

I adore your randomizers, hun. They are always so unique, and take into account some really awesome stuff. Being able to take into consideration SIM parents would be really awesome- would give people more incentive to breed eventers, rather than create them, I think.

I think it would be possible, and avoid having a temporary storing of information. I'd just have to have it look and see if there's a parent type submitted (IE. Parent A is A Quality) and then it'll generate a range of numbers based upon that. I just have to find time to code it, lol.

Getting a rating for show record would be cool too. With all sim horses being essentially the best horses possible (why would anyone create a substandard sim horse) what really separates them is how sim-heavy their pedigree is (which it sounds like you are already taking into account), and their show record. Horses sometimes have extensive show records in multiple organizations, but not enough in a single organization to have titled, or people don't show their mares before making them broodmares, while others do. Anyway - point is - if there was someway of giving a rating based on the success/extensiveness/impressiveness of a show record, I would think that was amazing.

That would be amazing. I'd really love to see evaluations that are based on sim horses and not on how well you can create one.

and not on how well you can create one. But but ... I can create a killer horse. Really. Like, a horse that will eat you. nom nom nom. (I couldn't help it.....!)
