Good News: I only have eight more days (M-Th, two weeks) of classes.
Bad News: Finals week will be here May 9th - 13th.
Worse News: I'm writing a smallish research paper with an annotated bibliography with rather rigid requirements. IE. if we don't put a period in the right spot we get docked five points type deal. I'm glad the size got cut from eight to ten pages down to five to seven - what a freaking lifesaver that will be. And that is double-spaced! So in reality it's like two to three pages single spaced, thankfully.
I also have to write an eight to ten minute persuasive speech and still do the research for that. I finally got the intro done for this and got a reply from my professor (finally). I need to get that written so I'll be prepared to give it the first week in May (I think I am going on the 4th but I cannot remember for sure >.<). My topic my family really disagrees on so practicing will be an adventure...
The Best News: Thurs the 19th to Mon the 23rd I will be in the Boundary Waters. Five days to just relax, enjoy nature, and be lazy with no worries in the world - I don't know if I can handle it I'm so looking forward to this.

Ugh, me too! Stupid finals. This week is spring break, but then I have AP tests and then finals the next week, and two books to read and a paper to write on top of that. I'd much rather be enjoying nature, lol.
Good luck with all that, can't wait until summer!

Finals are fantastic! *insert sarcastic face here* I know for my public speaking finals period we're just listening to persuasive speeches. My Philosophy period is for Exam 3. I'm not totally sure what we're doing during the finals period for my Comp class. Yoga, I believe, we do not have a finals period (thankfully). Just a take home final thing. So I think my Philosophy course is the only thing I'll have to stress over... and stressing over this paper and this speech...
