I'm just curious if anyone has a herd of cattle at their stables/ranches/farms/ect.
If you do, what breed(s) do you have?

I don't, but I may end up getting some. I'm really interested in cattle, and used to play in a game that was focused on western horses and show cattle. Twas pretty cool. I'd probably have Brahmans, Droughtmasters, perhaps some odder ones like Texas Longhorns or Scottish Highland cattle. Oh, and Lowlines Cause they are cute as. I'd love to start showing cattle again. That was always pretty darned cool.

Congratulations. I suck at drawing, otherwise I'd do the same thing. At least if I get SIM cattle, I'll be putting everything I'm agonising over in Agribusiness into good use.

I just have to clean her up. She doesn't have any hooves right now, LOL. And her udder is transparent. Hahaha.
And yes, putting to use Ag-Bis is goodness See? Always find the positive, even in your worst class.

I "technically" do. I've always considered Fiesta to be a working ranch since I opened it in 2003. Working ranch first, horse breeding operation second.

C&H Ranch does. I don't show them or anything, but I've always maintained that C&H was a working ranch, so cattle are a must, lol. I have my bulls and two of my main cows listed on their own page: chranch.twolarrysracing.com/bulls.shtmlThe breeds we keep are: Brangus Angus Brahman Texas Longhorn I've thought about bringing in a Bison to make Beefalo. I just might do that this spring. My bulls/cows are definitely available for breeding if you wanted C&H bloodlined cattle. We also have Giraffes! They are listed at the bottom of the bovine page.

Odeon and I are putting together a secret operation If anyone is interested in show cattle, feel free to send me a PM with anything you might feel useful. I'm going off what I've experienced through 4H and the state fairs, and through talking with friends and whatnot that have been showing cattle all their lives.

Ah, the beauty of SIMland. I'd love to see a half Arabian Zorse get a Legion of Masters in the real world. That's awesome, though
I googled Quaggas - so are they a zebra hybrid? Or are they a "breed" of zebras? I know these people, Fantasy Corral through their Miniatures, and they have all sorts of animals (they have a petting zoo). Really cool place.

They are an extinct subspecies of the plains zebra. They had the vivid marks on the front part of the body only, then in the mid-section the stripes faded and the rear parts were a plain brown. The only live one to be photographed was a mare in the London Zoo in 1870.
In 1932 a project to 'breed back' from a selective plains zebra stock was started. In 2006 third and fourth generation were produced and were reported to look very much like the quagga.

I saw that photograph. They're very neat looking, and that program sounds pretty cool. It's neat to see what people are interested in besides the typical horses

LOL totally...I think in real life a Zebra/Arabian cross probably wouldn't even be pretty because usually QHs and the like are used to offset the donkey-like conformation of the Zebra and add some substance. But I love my Zorse in HF and I am so proud of him. You know his name? Barcode CH, LMAO.
