Okay so I'm sort of starting to plan a 2011 foal crop. I would like to offer the vast majority of the foals I breed to the public as I want to get more LI kids in other barns proving themselves (since currently almost all of them are in my barn..)
I will have Thoroughbreds (flat racers), Quarter Horses, Paints, Appaloosas (working western, straight halter), and Arabians/Quarabs (working western).
What I want to know is what you guys are going to be in the market for this coming Spring. Breeds, ages, genders, specific events, colors, etc.
I'd like to tailor my foal crop to what everyone wants so I know they'll get sold to good, competitive show homes that will use them.

Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas for Working Western. Dilute/'rare' colors. Fillies. I'd also be interested in two-in-one packages [dam and foal]

I'm very fond of dilutes in any of my horses, and I'm really looking at expanding my working western show string... So any dilutes, QH or Paint i'd be very interested in.

I would love a few more straight halter kids from you. Paints or Quarter Horses, rare colors if possible. Maybe one working western Quarter Horse.

Working Western Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas. I don't have any preferences on color because lord knows I've got enough dilute colors. I would like to see some Roans or Grullos maybe though.

*makes notes*
Elsha, feel free to PM me any time about more halter horses. I can breed you something else. I'm also going to be looking into thinning my herd just a bit in the next month or so.

Working western appaloosa and araloosa are what I'd be looking for. Color doesnt matter to me.

Well, this is late, but if you're still interested in opinions.. I would be interested in seeing what you have for Thoroughbreds. I prefer filles, aged 2 to 3 years, for flat racing. Color doesn't matter, but I am a sucker for chestnuts, blacks, or wildly colored TBs. I'm picky though, so it really depends on the parents. There are always exceptions.

I know this post is old. But I finally started actually pulling status together. See my sig for a sneak peek. I will be adding new foals pretty much daily, so keep checking back!
