Arista Manor Christmas 2010 Stallion Showcase
Breeding Conditions
xx Each stallion is available for a maximum of three breedings
xx Breedings may be used immediately, or saved until a later date, before the expiration date
xx Reserves will expire on December 1st 2011
xx Buybacks are not required, however a working page URL must be available at all times, if the foal "disappears" it will be deleted from the stallion's progeny records
xx Foal disciplines should be kept consistent with sire disciplines, for example - a reining stallion is not going to be suitable for producing a park competitor
xx Mares disciplines should also be kept consistent with stallion disciplines. I will not approve a mare if she competes in a discipline that is quite different than what the stallion competes in (ie. breeding a mare that competes in jumper classes to an english pleasure stallion)
xx Foals must stay at least three years younger than their sire (ie. a 2005 stallion may not have a foal older than 2008)
xx Our stallions do not carry any naming restrictions, however we encourage the following of Polish and Russian naming rules when, in which the foal is named with the first letter of the dam's name (ie. mare name is Perdita so a suitable foal name would be Pearl) (this only applies when the parents are Polish x Polish or Russian x Russian)
Mare Breeds That May Apply
Arabian (all types) and Half-Arabians
Stock Horses: Quarter Horse, Paint, Appaloosa, Quarter Pony, Pony of the Americas
Sport Horses: Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods (all)
Baroque/Iberian Breeds: Andalusian, Lusitano, Friesian and Lipizzaner
Morgans and Saddlebreds
Welsh Ponies* (all sections, within reason)
Draft breeds** (within reason)
These are just the main breeds, and others may be approved.
If you are unsure about a breed, feel free to just submit the mare, if I don't approve her I will give you the option to apply with another mare.
We encourage the breeding of non-Arabian mares to produce Half-Arabian competitors!
Arista Manor mares are available for brood, if you are interested please let me know and I can provide a list of suitable mares. Please note that if using one of my mares for the breeding, the foal will be placed under the Arista Manor Sales Contract and will carry the AM suffix.

*When applying with a Welsh Pony mare, please take into account her size and the size of the stallion, smaller mares (esp. Welsh Mountain Ponies) must be bred through artificial semen, and some of the smaller mares may not be approved if the stallion is much larger than she.
** Some Draft mares may be approved, but only on a case by case basis. However, all Draft breeds are welcome to apply.
