Besides giving you a place to show your Mustangs, we also give you a place to get mustangs. SMA owns 3000 acres of prime land that holds anywhere between 6 to 10 herds of wild mustangs. Each herd will have anywhere between 10 and 20 horses. We make take mares from bigger herds to join the smaller ones. At least once a year, hopefully twice a year, we will hold Round ups. Our roundups will take either they whole herd or part of the herd and place them up for auction. Horses who are not adopted out will be placed back out with either their herd, or a new herd. While the most common time to adopt a mustang is at the roundups, we will adopt them out at any time. Just send a PM to Angel, with the horse you wish to adopt. Please note that we do not adopt out Lead stallions, unless it is a round up.
The SMA tags each horse and assigns it a ID number. The ID number will be kept in our records and can be used to trace the horse. ID: The idnumber we gave them. Should be listed on their page. Base Info: YOB Color Height Type Gender Sire x Dam: ID numbers listed if known. Herd: Herd they live in (Herd born in) Owner/Sold To: If SMA they are in a herd. If other name listed then has been adopted.
