The Irish Horse Society was created to promote Irish Horses. There are several breeds of horses that fall into the category of Irish Horse. They include the Irish Draught, Irish Cob, Irish Sport Horse, Connemara Pony and Kerry Bog Pony. Though few in number, the versatility of these breeds is amazing. You can find them doing heavy harness work, pulling gypsy wagons, competing in International level Eventing, and Dressage, and the most important thing, being a friend to your family.
