Just letting everyone know, especially those that I've purchased horses from - that I'm working on a new results database. The database itself is finished (thanks to the help of Aeolus!), but I have not even gotten close to entering all of the results I'll need to (8 shows and already over 1300 separate results .. yikes!).
Over the next few weeks, if you see the old results page removed from a horse's page do not be alarmed, everything is saved and backed up and results will be added to the database as soon as I can get them in there.
The database is already live on each horse's page, and you can see my progress as time goes on. Right now, I am starting with older RCHA shows, then will move onto the other associations and then onto open and non-affiliated shows.
Needless to say, if you require results to be posted on a horse's page at all times, through your contract - just realize that these changes are happening right now and things may be getting removed only to be added again in a more efficient way.
And yayyy for having a results database. You have no idea of the complexity of it, but how easy collecting results will be from now on! Pretty sure this is the results fairy I've been asking for lol.

Lin, in the future I'll be offering the files associated to it, for anybody who has the ability to use them. Only thing you'll require is the ability to use PHP and MySQL on your site, and you'll need to have a horse database already set up, or in the process of being set up. I need to get the files organized and zipped into their own folder, but they way I figure it is that there is no need to be stingy with them ... if it will help people keep better records on their horses then it will better Sim as a whole.
