Lately I've been having some problems with the ASSHA. The ASSHA is only open to the following breeds.
Quarter Horses Paints Appaloosas POAs Quarter Ponies Appendix Horses [Containing 50% or less Thoroughbred Blood] Colorado Rangers Australian Stock Horses
THESE ARE THE ONLY BREEDS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ASSHA!!!!!!!!
The ONLY cross breeds allowed to participate are crosses of the above breeds.
EX. Quarter Horse x POA, Australian Stock Horse x Paint, Appaloosa x Appendix Horse, Colorado Ranger x POA, etc, etc.
HORSES CONTAINING ANY ARABIAN BLOOD ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COMPETITION WITHIN THE ASSHA.
This rule is not that hard to follow. The rule is also very simply written and even explains that crossbreeds must have two or more approved breeds in them. Please follow this rule, if I find this keeps happening, guilty parties will be AUTOMATICALLY SUSPENDED FROM THE ASSHA FOR 1 MONTH!.
Im putting this out there now because while checking the ASSHA entries for the new shows I've noticed a few half arabians entered. Im allowing for time to get entries fixed.
