Arcadia Sim is in the process of finishing our All-Sim Pedigree database. We hope to be able to serve the All-Sim community and provide an easily accessible pedigree and progeny database to help keep track of horses as they move from game-to-game and owner-to-owner.
We are NOT done with our current endeavor. We have a few modifications to make to the search page (right now you can only search by horse name) and we hope to find a way to make linking new horses to exiting pedigrees even easier (right now you must type in the 3 gen of all horses registered, being careful to spell names EXACTLY as they appear in the database so as to ensure horses are properly linked).
Please do NOT register at this time (it is functional, we simply ask that you wait if interested). If you would like to test out creating horses, you may do so on the guest account.
I'm looking for some feedback. Please feel free to check out our site and log in using the Guest/Guest account (Capital G's!).

I´m not sure i understood everythink right =D So it´s a site where you can register all your horses? With linked pedigree, show results and so on? If thats all right - it sounds great

Wow, that is way cool. Sort of like the allbreedpedigree.com database for RL horses. What a great thing to introduce to All-Sim!

Let me try to clarify - sorry I should have been more thorough. Our goal IS to be an AllBreedPedigree.com of the sim world. Right now we're still in the building / planning stages. All things are functional - but we have more we'd like to add. I'm seeking feedback. So anyway - details:
I own Arcadia Sim and we use the databases / php pages listed for our sim. I know that with horses moving here and there, from game to game, into and out of all-sim that sometimes it's hard to tell who has what or where which horse went. I was thinking that it would be useful to have a central location (that's not going anywhere) that people could check in, do easy updates, and help keep the sim world informed about their horses.
Right now I'm not sure we want to offer our show database - that's a little tricky as we have a randomizer so anybody who wanted their results in our database would have to use our randomizer to run their show. I don't know if people want to commit to that. We also don't have our entire show results ironed out yet - i really want to be able to add scores or links to more specific information for events like reining, 3-day, etc.
What I am more than willing to offer though are the pedigree/progeny/information pages and the search functions as well as use/space in our database. Right now I'm interested in feedback, what you thought of the usability, information available, etc.
Constructive criticism welcome!

I peeked at the site when you first posted it on WF and I meant to bring this up, but I was in a hurry.
The site has since been modified, but I found some confusion in whether or not you had to join Arcadia Sim to use the Pedigree Database. The only reason I was confused here, is because the only links taking me to any sort of Pedigree Database was merely to what I believed to be Arcadia Sim's registry. I mention this because when using the Guest/Guest login you are taking to a dashboard called 'My Arcadia' and nowhere do I see it mentioned that it is an All-Sim Pedigree Database.
I mainly do not want to be storing my All-Sim horses in a database if I feel like it's locking me into a "game" atmosphere. I would rather see the site set up with no affiliation to another game at all, and separate as it's own entity.
=)
