A few times each year RFR chooses horses to star as their new show team. While all RFR horses are shown year round, these are the boys and girls who will star in the spotlight at shows here at SAI.

This colorful 3 year old filly was bred by RFR as a cross between our warmbloods and our draft sporthorses. She is a true example of what we breed for with our American Warmbloods.
Representing the Star Ponies...
[glow=red,2,300]Star Poughkeepsie[/glow]
This young mare is an RFR homebred who was sold and repurchased and we are overjoyed to have her back. The first foal from our broodmare, Arkansas April, Pookie has proven to be a shining example of both her sire and dam.

This beautiful mare was bred by an outside farm to a RFR stud. We then had the good fortune to purchase her as a filly. Dynamite has been around the show ring a few times and when you look at her you know you are looking at a champion.

One of very few paint racehorses, Deli is out of the remarkable broodmare, Filing Late. She is an RFR homebred and will continue out her racing career here for as long as she continues to enjoy the feel of the wind in her mane.

[glow=red,2,300]Double Martini [/glow] and [glow=red,2,300]Holkenstadt Hershey Bar[/glow] and [glow=red,2,300]Rubber Ducky[/glow]
Two first two are exceptionally beautiful boys, neither are homebreds, but both were bred close to home. Marty is the product of an outside breeding between an RFR stud and another farm's mare. As with Dynamite, I had the pleasure to purchase him as a youngster. Hershey was bred by Steady Acres, but his sire is an RFR homebred! Ducky is fresh blood for the RFR breeding program. She is new to us and is just getting familiar with our training schedules and riders. Keep an eye out for her soaring over hurdles in the jumper arena.
Representing the Running Freely Ranch Prospects...
[glow=red,2,300]RFR Abigail Adams[/glow] and [glow=red,2,300]S Adoration[/glow] and [glow=red,2,300]RFR One Blue Moon[/glow]
Abigail represents our weanlings. She is an RFR homebred who was the result of winning a breeding to a Fiesta Stock Horses stud. Adore represents our yearlings. This custom SAI bred filly is a colorful addition to our sportpony program. Blue represents our two year olds. This pleasure prospect is not new to being a shining star on the RFR Show Team.
