Since, Joelle has been MIA and Meaghan has not returned yet, I'm going to be taking over the RCHA until Meaghan returns.
Which means, you're all doomed. jk.
There are a few updates and changes I'd like to go over before we get the ball rolling again. We're going to be reverting back to some old rules, plus changing things up a bit.
xx Division Limits
xx Retired Stallion/Mare Halter
xx Breeders' Trust
xx Help Articles
xx Spring Sale?
xx Questions? Suggestions?
Expect to see new shows out sometime soon. I want to get things reorganized first, but do start working on your entry lists. Today I'll be changing the Retired Stallion/Mare halter classes, so look out for that change in the classlist.

xx Division Limits
No more 15-horses per division, per owner rule. As of right now, there are not enough classes in each discipline for all of us to split our competitors up nice and evenly, so from now we're reverting back to the old rules. No division limits.
xx Retired Stallion/Mare Halter
Some of us, myself included, have a nice full breeding barn. But, we still like to see our older guys and gals get out there and show in halter to keep themselves in tip-top shape. Or whatever reason you have .... Anyway, I'm going to be splitting the Retired Stallion and Retired Mare Halter classes up a bit so they're not all jammed into one class. They'll be split by age. Just remember - these are for retired stallions and mares that are involved in a reining and cutting breeding program. Don't throw your 6yo AQHA western pleasure star in the class. I might get angry.
xx Breeders' Trust
I want to see all of you get involved in this. All it takes is at least two foals competing in the RCHA for a stallion or mare to be nominated. I know that I've got a few I need to get on the list, and I'm sure there are quite a few more out there. I'm not saying go out and breed a ton of foals, but look at your horses and see if you have anybody that can be nominated, and then notify the foal owners to remind them to show with the RCHA in the regular and Breeders' Trust shows!
xx Help Articles
I know that working western classes can be confusing. So, over the next few weeks I'm going to be working on some Help Articles that will include pictures and videos. They will hopefully be able to answer any and all questions you may have about working western discplines. Plus, you'll be able to find them in the All Sim Library as well!
xx Spring Sale?
What do you think about having a Spring Sale? The RCHA hasn't had an association sale in quite awhile and I think it would help grab attention of former and newer competitors. We would take consignments from other people, but also offer a batch of nice creates of a variety of breeds. What do you think? Anything in particular you're on the look out for?
xx Questions? Suggestions?
I'd love it if anybody with questions or suggestions about the RCHA could post them here. If you can think of something that isn't working out for you, that may make your interest in the RCHA peak, if changed - let me know. If you're confused about the way something works, and need a clarified answer - ask it here. Or PM me of course. I'm an open book, don't be afraid to ask a question or make a suggestion that not everybody may like.
