Hello,
I thought I should introduce myself somewhat. I'm always paranoid, so I usually don't share a lot about myself. What I can tell you is this, though.
My name is JJ, or Jordan Jay. I do participate in a band as the only guitarist in the band, and I play the acoustic guitar. I've been playing on and off for the last... three years now, but I don't see much of a future with the "band" or as a guitar player.
Right now I'm sixteen, and a sophomore in high school. I haven't really ridden horses in the past six years, since I broke my leg, but I did participate in a hunter show this past summer. Sadly, the horse I was riding was a green horse and we finished out of the ribbons/placings.
As for my hobbies, I work with a retired Appaloosa racehorse gelding named Kings And I. Kings is my dad's horse, and we've had him since he was born. I have spent the past year or so, with my dad's help, retraining him to be a suitable trail mount. He's only about fifteen hands, and a good sized Appaloosa. He's a solid bay-brown color, with a little white on his face. I had a picture of him somewhere...
This was the last Appaloosa my dad bred, and he wasn't very successful on the track. He just never had the... will... to race. He won his maiden in three tries and won about $25,000 total in three years of racing. He's a lot... stockier? than the other Appaloosas we've seen out on the track (or at least, it seems that way to me). I'm planning on riding him next summer on trail rides, and possibly getting my baby cousin out to ride him soon...
I'm an only child, and my mom's brother lives about three miles away from us, in town. I have a five month old cousin and a thirteen year old cousin. Tim and I are really close, and he's more of a brother than a cousin to me. He's dreaming of becoming a horse trainer, though he's still young...
Anyways, to wrap this up. Next year I start some college classes, and I would like to eventually become a veterinarian, more of a large animal vet than a small animal vet, but I am hoping on becoming a "farm" vet that can handle anything from a squeaky poodle to a mooing cow... we'll have to see I guess.
So... that's me.
