After deciding I needed seriously to revamp my databases, I managed to get the horse information sorted out and have untangled pedigrees/show records for horses going into games, and left allsim to the end as I wasn't sure what I'm going to do.
Well, 'bout the time I decided to get started on the allsim horses, everything blew up in my face. Some of you know my dad has drinking/anger issues. About a month or so back, Ma decided to leave for a few nights and that seemed to really zap Dad out of his drinking and it has been better since Ma returned. But... I found out a couple weeks ago we will be moving. When, I'm not sure. Our house just went on the market and we're not moving until this house is sold, then we're going to have to pack madly and hope we have a place to move to.
So, things have been looking better this past month, month and a half, but lately everything has been falling to me. I have to clean the house/keep it clean, I have to keep my own room clean (which, being a college student isn't easy, right?), and on top of that I have a full time schedule again so I'm working my arse off just on homework alone. Dad's starting to slip back into drinking a bit too much again and his anger flairs up quick. I barely say anything to him and I'm getting in trouble. Lately, I've been hiding out on my computer/hiding in my room to avoid him when I'm not doing homework.
I have, I believe, 25 days of classes left. I skipped classes today as we got snow and the roads are just a disaster. Of course, by the time my afternoon classes would have started, the snow stopped and I'm guessing the roads are better now, but I'm not stupid enough to venture out. It took us over an hour to go from Cambridge to my house, which normally takes, at most, 20 minutes. So, I figured, a 45min drive would be nearly two hours, and by the time I got home I would have never made it to class in time, plus my truck was covered in snow and whatnot. Thanks, Minnesota. I love you dearly </3
So, that brings me to telling you my plans. I selected my top three stallions, which also happen to be my BE stallions, and have not decided on any mares yet, but I'm hoping to choose about seven mares, and make a small herd of working western horses. I have not decided where I want to remain active yet. I want only one or two places so I can keep the coding/show records on the small side for me.

We have a new site. I just started working on it today and haven't decided if I totally like the layout or not. Input, perhaps?
Also, PLEASE note that NOTHING is set in stone yet, as far as the layout of pages such as the horse pages themselves, or the "category" pages.
This is a forewarning that until mid June I may be sporadically active. Finals week is about May 12th, that Saturday I'm busy with FFA, the weekend after I'm going out of town, and then I graduate and have to clean/prepare for my grad party -- I could care less. =/
Anyways, I think that's all. If anyone has horse information they want, I can comb through my stuff for them. Just let me know. I don't know what happened to my last database, there was some sort of malfunction in my code that wasn't working right and screwed up the horse-pedigree connection. >.>
