Hi there. I'm Brooke. I'm sixteen. I'm pretty new to All Sim, but I think I know the basic idea of it. Right now I'm having to use a Weebly website (which will be up soon), but I'm slowly learning HTML so hopefully that will change. I love pageants and photography. I'm an Army brat. Well, not anymore since my dad is officially retired (thank gosh!), so I can finally stay in one place and make some real friends. haha. I've been wanting to join this for a few years, but I never had time. Now I do. In real life I have a couple of horses of my own. This is Fleet, a registered paint horse. This is Poco, a grade horse. There are a few more than I show and ride, but they are not mine. It is nice to meet you all.

Welcome Brooke!
My husband just got out of the Army in July after four years. We were stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He comes from a big Army family, his sister, her husband and brother are all in the Army as well, however all of them are officers. Plus Tessa's husband is also in the Army right now. You might find you have a lot in common with us, even though your roll in the Army life was a little different than ours lol.
Do you know what you're planning to specialize in? I own and operate Fiesta Stock Horses, the largest working western barn in All-Sim, and if you're interested in working western horses I'd love to help you get set up with some stock. I also run the Reining and Cutting Horse Arena (RCHA) and am an Council Member with the Arabian and Half Arabian Circuit (AHAC).
I'm also a staff member here, at WF Show Grounds and at World Wide Sims - so if you have any questions or need a hand with anything, feel free to send me a PM!

That is a lot of people from one family. Sounds like a big family too. I know he won't know me, but tell your husband I said thanks for serving our country. Oh, and thank you Ashlee, for being such a supportive wife to him! I was planning on specializing in stock horses, actually. haha. I was thinking I'd like to mainly focus on events like barrel racing and pole bending, but I'm not sure how active those kind of events are, so I may change my mind. Thank you very much!

Welcome Brooke! Nice to meet you. My barn is Hawk Ridge, and I specialize in Appaloosas and Quarter Horses, with some half-arabians here and there - working western with a few pleasure horses. I manage World.Wide.Sims (another all-sim forum like SAI), which is stock breed central with the QH, Appaloosa, and Paint breed registries for all-sim, as well as a few other western clubs. You will probably pop up on my forum if you are into stock breeds Can't wait to see your (sim) horses and your new barn ... western speed classes are moderate around here (all the breed clubs at WWS offer those classes), with reining & cutting being the most active disciplines overall, I think. And Dressage, I think that's pretty big too, but I am a western gal with one dressage horse in total, so what do I know? Haha. My brother in law serves in the Canadian military (artillery) and I have a cousin who was involved, but otherwise I am out of that loop. I liked the photos of your horses, they are both very nice looking, thanks for sharing

So far SAI is the only forum I've joined, so I need to start venturing out a little bit. I pretty much have to stick with Western because I know absolutely nothing about English disciplines. hehe. Does Canada have branches like the US? That's awesome that your b-i-l is serving. I'm pretty much out of the "loop" now considering my dad and I live on a five acre area in the middle of nowhere. haha. Thank you!

Welcome Brooke. I am Shelly and I currently don't have a "real" barn. In real life I work with an Arabian mare that's a royal PITA lol. I had a huge thing for working western horses for several years. That has slowly been whittled away though... anyways...
My own all sim forum is kind of slow right now.

My own all sim forum is kind of slow right now. It's nice to meet you! I feel stupid because I had to look up what PITA meant. haha. Urban Dictionary, ftw. Hopefully that will change in the future, and the horse you are working with will get better.

Urban Dictionary ftw indeed. I don't work with her too much, which is part of the problem. When I do see her I usually only have about an hour, if I'm lucky an hour and a half. As soon as I get my own wheels it'll change xD
I wanted to point out the SIM Western Gymkhana Association to you. It might interest you Do you compete in barrels/poles in real life? Btw, I love Fleet's markings!

Well, I wish you the best of luck with her! I'll look into it. I'm trying to get on as many forums (that I can handle) as possible. Yes I do compete in real life. I don't as much as I like, but I do sometimes. Thank you! Fleet is my baby.

I'm hoping to start working with my friend's pinto mare soon, though. She just likes to freak out at the stupidest things... like the pole she loped past a half dozen times before she decided it was going to eat her.... hahaha.
Take a look at Zareba Showgrounds

Okay, so I just went back through and re-read all of the messages (sorry, it was early and I was being lazy lol).
Im, too, am an army wife. My husband is coming up on his 5th year in the army and he's currently an EOD tech. We're stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, but we'll probably be moving in the next year.
In SIM, I specialize in Stock Horses, POAs, Quarter Ponies, Welsh Ponies, Arabians & Half Arabians. I have a variety of events at SAI, but the majority of my horses (and my biggest love) compete in pleasure horse events. Im probably the biggest pleasure horse stable in all sim right now.
Again, welcome to SAI and All Sim! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask
