The All Sim Draft Horse Association handbook is all you need to know about showing with us. Please be sure to read everything as it is all imported to some part of the ASDHA. Draft Horse:Also called a Draught horse. Draft horses are often heavy horse that are used for farm work. Though most Draft horses are used for driving they can also be shown under-saddle. Draft horses are now used for Low level jumping, dressage and western riding. Draft horses are often crossed with Thoroughbreds or Arabians to make Sport or Warmblood horses. Most drafts are between 16 and 19 hands. However Heavier pony and horse breeds can be called 'drafts'. Yet another characteristics of draft horses is feathering on their lower legs.

Rule 1b - Warmblood/Sport Horse types may not show in the ASDHA. This rule applies to horses who are listed as 'warmbloods' or 'sport' horses on their page. Warmblood/Sport horses are Draft crossed with either Thoroughbreds or Arabians. We do allow the cross to show in the ASDHA as long as they are not listed as Warmblood/Sport horses. They may not be shown with in any Warmblood/Sport horses Association.
Rule 3e - Foals may only show with one parent in breeder shows. This rules means a horse can either enter 'Get of Sire' or 'Produce of Dam', NOT BOTH. This also means horses may enter 'Dam & Foal' or 'Sire & Foal', NOT BOTH. As of right now I am removing them only one of the classes. Starting next month when new shows are run I will be deleting them from BOTH. 'Get of Sire' & 'Produce of Dam' - You must own both foals, but do not have to own the parents. 'Dam & Foal' & 'Sire & Foal' - You must own both foal and parent.
