Hey ladies... McKenzie and I have been working on a new game, and before it's grand opening, we need some folks to do some alpha testing for us... So please, if you're interested, come by the site, take a look around, and sign up and try to break things!!! The Circuit

I decided to post a little about the game. Its a sim ( of course) with built in randomizers that collect data and automatically tabulate show records, titles, and points.
We allow importation with records ( Tedious to enter into the database, but necessary)
We have both Horses and Dogs.
Alpha testers must be hardy souls, who aren't going to faint if i have to clear the show database, or worse.

Ooh I like breaking things lol. When we get back I'll do some toying around. Only thing I see now is your apostophes within the database. I think you're looking for an addslashes script. =)

I would like to point out that the link to the forum is bad.

I've logged in and been browsing the site and it looks good to me.
However, I would suggest making the colors more neutral. Personally, I'm a little put off by games with bright, flamboyant colors and the orange kind of makes my eyes hurt. I'm sure there are other people out there, like me. So perhaps try using something a little more user friendly? Most people tend to use blue and white, which I wouldn't use. But perhaps some shades of green and a lighter brown or something? Or even just change the orange background to a white and gray mix?

Another thing, I don't see anything on aging in the Rules. I say this because it is noted that mares gestate for 12 months (the real average is 11 however) and that dogs gestate for 16 weeks (the real average is 9 weeks or 62-63 days). I ask this, because I'm guessing that you guys have your own aging system, since these numbers are so off. But I don't see anything about it? Unless I'm missing it?

I pointed out the twelve month gestation and Rhianon said it'd be fixed to eleven months. I knew sixteen weeks sounded long for a dog but I wasn't in the mood to look it up lol. And I agree with Ashlee on the colours.

Okay thanks so much for everyone who has helped.
The rules and lead page have been updated to reflect the changes that needed to be made. The menu is changed to reflect the new url for the forum We're discussing possible color changes right now.
I can't find an issue with the dog import code, but I'm still looking.
Ashlee, which page specifically did you have slashes problems. I thought i'd updated all the pages for slashes. Maybe I missed one.

Looks really good, though I agree about the color.

The slashes were in the registry. I think you changed them after I posted. And the dog issue wasn't with the import code. If you go to the second page of View Horses there are dogs registered in the horse side of the regiry.

The colors of the site have been updated. They're easier to read, and not blue. ( LOL )
