Recently I've been noticing a HUGE[/u] amount of mistakes with the shows that I've addressed numerous times in the past. These mistakes should not keep happening and this is the absolute last warning I will be giving for them.
The ASSHA is open to the following breeds and the these breeds only! Quarter Horse, Quarter Horse x Thoroughbred (Appendix Quarter Horse), Paint Horse, Thoroughbred x Paint, Appaloosa, Thoroughbred x Appaloosa, POA, Quarter Pony, Colorado Ranger, Australian Stock Horse, Canadian Cutting Horse and Mustang. These are the only breeds eligible for competition within the ASSHA, all other breeds are not allowed, this includes cross breeds with one parent's breed being ASSHA eligible (from the above list).
The ASWA is open to only warmblood breeds! Jules has so kindly made a list of the breeds eligible for ASWA competition. The approved breeds list can be found here. Any breeds not listed on this list will not be eligible for competition.
The PHA is only open to horses that compete in pleasure events. Horses competing in straight halter, saddleseat, working western, gymkhana, racing or sport horse classes (eventing, dressage, jumping, etc.) may NOT[/u] enter any portion of the PHA, this includes halter classes.
Please remember, that while I don't limit the number of horses from each farm per class, I will start to place a limit if I continue to see 100+ horses from one farm in each class. If you have a lot of horses to enter, please do rotations. Split your horses in halves or quarters and enter a select amount each month. This will allow for each person to have a fair shot at placing in shows.
This is the last warning I will be sending out for the shows. If I see anymore problems I will implement a mandatory registration for each association and allow only registered horses to show, I will also remove people's entries from the master list and I will hand out 3 month suspensions from the master lists and 1 month suspensions from the shows. If the master lists continue to be abused, they will be removed from all members, with the exception of staff members.
Please respond below to let me know you've read and understand this. If you have any questions, please post below.[/size]
