Wasn't sure if this is right spot to post this. Question is.. Is there a place where an active amount of Event shows are happening? I snooped around didnt find much probably missed something im sure. I love events and have noticed alot of my warmbloods compete in it. Hence why I'm looking around

The Crossroads holds eventing shows regularly, the more entries I have the more often I will hold shows, too.;-) I have a large eventing string, so eventing shows are a top priority. aphr.proboards.com/index.cgi?

We did have an eventing association but as it got less and less entries the owner quit it and now it's just floating around in limbo. If you want, I'm sure it's quite alright to take it over

That would be cool to open up again. There's a place for nearly every other discipline. Is there enough horses and stables that would be interested in participating in it. I've got the time to put into it if its something thats wanted .

I was hoping to bring back my Horse Trials Association after finals. I'd be more than happy to! I have everything saved on my old forum so all I would have to do is copy it over and we'd be ready to rock n roll
BTW, Rockin Y also has events (www.rockiny.proboards.com) ETA: See that you are already there

I would love to see another Eventing association. I have a large number of eventers that would love another place to compete. I'm sure it would get a lot of entries, and the more active it is, the more people would want to enter. I know I love entering in active associations, so you should definitely open one. I bet Tessa would let you host it at SAI.

Would anyone be willing to open a branch of the All Sim Eventing Association at SAI, assuming that's allowed? For both the Beginner Novice through Advanced plus CIC/CCI events?

Amanda, the HTA will cover Pre-Entry thru Advanced plus the big events, based upon a mostly real life listing of events (I have included some to fill in months, esp. Dec/Jan). Pre-Entry is equivalent to Green as Grass (the level prior to beginner novice). I will be opening it soon again, so stay tuned

Its not specifically for eventers but I have the Sporthorse Association (SHA) which has eventing as well. Prospect to CCI/CIC, if your looking for another place to show. Offers Horse Trials and Three Day Eventing aswell so you can pick and choose how you want your eventers shown, just for fun. I know its been dead but I finally got my shows in order and will run on a monthly basis. Located towards the bottom of SAI if your interested.

The allsim Warmblood assoc also has eventing classes available, and I am always happy to add more classes/adjust the classlist for the needs of the group.

Amanda if you're interested in opening an eventing association, feel free to PM me. We'll see what we can work out as far as hosting at SAI goes
